The Black Trout Adit is situated right in the centre of the Repecki Park in Tarnowskie Góry. The touring starts in turns at the Ewa shaft or the Sylwester shafts. Both shafts can be accessed from the direction of the Upper Silesian Rehabilitation Center or the free parking lot on Repecka Street.
Tarnowskie Góry is one of the most interesting towns in the Silesian Region, located in the southern part of Poland. It is well-communicated thanks to the Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice and the junction of highways A1 and A4 nearby. The region’s capital city, Katowice, is only 25 km away. Also the distance to Kraków is quite insignificant. This historic city of Polish kings, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is about 100 km away from here.
Free parking lot – for cars and buses, unguarded, Repecka Street.
Currently, due to the extension of the Rehabilitation Center, the parking is not fully serviceable.
We recommend driving to the car park on Repecka Street.
The distance from the Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice to the Black Trout Adit is about 30 km, which equals a 30-40 minute car drive.
